World of Warcraft Northrend Lore

As a matter of fact that is quite well known among all serious World of Warcraft players, the final and best expansion of the whole series was (and for most will continue to be) Wrath of Lich King! Not only that it sticks to the original Warcraft 3 Lore (which was previously discussed here as well), but it also concludes the whole gaming story (obviously in a way that left plenty of room for other beginnings). However I will not complain about Cataclysm or Mists of Pandaria, because in a weird way they also appealed to me when they were first launched (however not as much as WotLK did, that is for certain). So now as a tribute, or better said as a memento I would like us to review those famous cinematics that really had us going back in the days … It would be nice to begin with the actual launch cinematic, right?

Eh, that brings back plenty of nice memories, aye? And the music, so sad and so very nice as well, damn I have watched it a lot of times and just by simply hearing the song and King Terenas speaking puts a tear into my eye … Yeah well there’s no need to get all mushy about, we’re here to remember the past, not to be overtaken by it!

As we move on some more familiar faces start popping up! So let us drop by Ulduar and revisit the secrets contained within by watching the short intro that Blizz was kind enough to supply as a trailer for patch 3.1.

So guys we have Alliance and Horde in tensions (not fighting, not yet at least, thanks to Rhonin) and all the other mighty heroes fearing for their sorry arses while the so-called “Old God” is laughing at them … That was a pretty strong scene there you need to accept that!

And finally, as preparations to meet the Lich King head on are on their apex we find ourselves in more interesting circumstances during the opening of the Argent Tournament!

I don’t know about you guys, but I for one really loved the concept of the tournament and almost all elements that came with it, quite interesting and worth a while! Well then more or less, this is quite about it, there still might be a second part which I will be reviewing in a couple of days as well, but until then let’s just stick with these, shall we?

Oh I almost forgot about this one, been saving the best for last! I assume you still remember this ancient video, right?
