Since we talked last time about the fourth part from God of War series, I was thinking about sharing a few thoughts on another game that bears this number, to be more precise, we’ll be sharing some thoughts on Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, which has been in discussion for quite some time now on most of the top gaming blogs.
Each and everyone had only good words about the game and some very few and lousy critics (which really are not founded given the fact that the game will only come out in late autumn this year, if it won’t be postponed like another game which we know of that bears the number 5 attached to it, off course that we talk about GTA 5 here).
Anyways if y’all ask me the only thing that could happen to the game is that the story was ended already in Assassin’s Creed 3 (at least on Desmond’s side of things) and usually when Ubisoft made a sequel to a game they had already finished and placed the action before the ending, things didn’t go so well (see Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands). But, and here we have a serious big BUT, the story of Assassin’s Creed is virtually limitless in offering decent possibilities for an unlimited number of sequels (both before and after the end) and that off course is so because the game follows the genealogical tree of humanity and the obsession for secret circles which existed, exit and will endure for as long as we’ll endure as a race.
Now with this out the way, I really don’t know what else could go wrong with the game as long as it will be as captivating as the other 5 games of the main series, to me Black Flag will be as well an utter success and I can’t wait to play and share a few impressions on it after I’ve finished it.
And finally, as for the story I don’t wana share to much, not to spoil the surprise (not that I would know that much myself right now), so I will just say that it’s about Pirates (you know cause they have a black flag? right?!) and it has something to do with Connor’s grandpa. If you really wish to know more just drop by the some official websites and check out the info as it is released. That’s quite it for me, gracias for reading and I’ll see y’all in a few (like literally) …
